Hello Again!

Last week we had our aunt and uncle were here with their three little girls, and when they left that same night another cousin came over. We had fun with him! He was passing through on his way to Chicago where he may be going to college.

This last Saturday we went to a friend's wedding. At the reception it rained but thankfully the rain didn't last long. and after the shower there was a double rainbow! It was really awesome!! So we were rewarded by sticking around. It is to bad so many people left because it was simply gorgeous after the rain!!! I really like weddings! It is so fun to dress up for them!

I cannot believe how fast this year is going! It used to take forever to get to the fourth of July, and now we are just a couple days away from it!

Warm Weather!

Finally it is warm enough to do more things outside! So the other day Elizabeth and I washed our very stinky dog. She usually despises baths but this time she was pretty good about it, I think because she was so hot. :)

This weekend my mom's sister and her family are here visiting, they have three little girls who are very fun! You know I am having lots of fun with this blog!!!!

Friday night we all were up at 1:30 because of tornado warnings that were going off all around town. It was kind of creepy, and in a way sort of exiting. No tornado went over our house, thankfully! But we were up rather late.

There is a possibility that Elizabeth and I might be able to go to our cousin's house sometime next month. I am really hoping that we will be able to! It is neat that our cousins want us to come since they are all older then us! There are six kids in their family, two girls and four boys.

Last week Elizabeth, Kirsten and Emily and I rode our bikes up to a little farm store called Skelly's. They have fresh doughnuts that are delicous! I guess it is a little family owned bussiness. They sell strawberries also.

I really hope that all of my friends who read this blog will check out a wonderful book that we have and that I am willing to rent out. It is called "Before you Meet Prince Charming" by Sarah Mally.
It has been really helpful to me, and I strongly suggest that everyone would read it!

I made my Pie!

Hey friends!
I have made my first pie! It was the rhubarb I wanted to make a few days ago.
It actually turned out too! It may sound weird to those of my friends who are great
cooks, that I made my first pie, but my whole family likes to bake and cook so it is
sometimes hard to get in there and do something myself. Even my brother likes to make
things, he makes wonderful eggs and brownies! The pie didn't taste quite as good as my mom's do, but after all my mom has been making pies much longer then I have:)
I am just getting over a dreadful cold that I had last week. A cold isn't very fun when you want to do things. This last weekend our family had a garage sale. We did pretty good too! With lots of customers! Last night we were at some friend's house and I saw the most amazing shooting star!
It was the best I have ever seen! And very large too. Stars are one of my favorite creations!
I could just stare into space for ages, if there was a way not to get a crook in my neck :)

Country Mouse, indeed!

Lately we haven't been doing too much. This last week Elizabeth and I have been home for the main part of the day because everyone else has either been out and about or working. So we have been home cleaning, and taking care of the house. Yesterday I was going to make a rhubarb pie,
but it got too late and we had to go clean the church, with Bethany Meyer. My job is usually washing the MANY windows. It takes a long time! And you get really tired!
I am wondering who of my friends are country mice, and who are city mice? Please comment on my blog and tell me what you are :)
I am a country mouse through and through! I highly doubt I shall ever get used to the city, or even a neighborhood!

Hello Friends!

So I now have my own blog! I am so exited about it! But I will start my blog with one of my favorite bible verses, which is Psalm 139
O Lord, you have searched me and know me!
You know when I sit down and when I rise up.
You discern my thoughts from afar.

It is definitely a comfort to know that Jesus knows more about me then I know myself!

So if you asked me what I have been doing lately I would say...
I have been living!
Beside living:) I have been trying to finish those last bits of school that I have. I played my last soccer game on Saturday. I am too old to play on the team I was on any longer. That is very sad for me because I enjoyed it so much! I have to say, writing a blog post is awfully hard! Oh, and today I went to a wedding shower at church. I hope to have many followers,
and I hope I will think of something more interesting to say in my next post! :)
